Everything You Want to Know Before You Hire

The real questions we get from homeowners in Las Vegas, Reno, and Southern Utah every single week.

General

AllPro Painters serves Las Vegas and the greater Clark County area in Nevada; Reno, Sparks, and the Truckee Meadows in northern Nevada; and Southern Utah including St. George, Hurricane, and Cedar City. If you are just outside these areas, call us. We take select projects beyond our primary service zones.
Yes. We are a fully licensed painting and drywall contractor in both Nevada and Utah. We carry general liability insurance and workers compensation on every employee. We are happy to provide certificates of insurance upon request.
We have been painting homes and commercial properties in the Southwest since 2008. Over 18 years and more than 10,000 completed projects.
We work exclusively with Sherwin-Williams and Dunn Edwards. These are premium-grade product lines, built for high durability, washability, and adhesion. We do not use bargain paint. It shows up in the finish and it does not last.

Estimates & Pricing

Yes, completely. We visit your home or property, assess the scope, discuss your preferences, and provide a detailed written estimate. No obligation, no pressure.
We typically schedule estimates within 2-3 business days. During peak season (spring and early fall), it may take slightly longer. We will confirm your appointment time and send a reminder the day before.
A line-item breakdown of materials, labor, number of coats, surfaces being painted, surface prep included, and estimated timeline. No vague whole-house numbers. You see exactly what you are paying for.
We typically ask for 25-30% down to schedule the project and order materials. The balance is due upon completion after your final walkthrough.
We can give you a rough range over the phone based on square footage, but we do not finalize pricing without seeing the property. Paint projects vary enormously based on surface condition, ceiling height, number of colors, trim complexity, and prep work needed.

Interior Painting

A single room takes 1-2 days. A full interior (3-4 bedrooms, living areas, hallways) typically takes 4-7 days depending on scope, prep work, and coats required.
No. We move furniture to the center of the room, cover everything with drop cloths, and return items when we are done. Your belongings are treated carefully.
Flat or matte for low-traffic bedrooms and ceilings. Eggshell or satin for living areas and dining rooms. Semi-gloss for kitchens, bathrooms, and trim. We will make specific recommendations based on your lifestyle and the rooms involved.
Two coats minimum on every surface. For dramatic color changes, we add a primer coat first, then two finish coats. We never cut corners on coats.
Absolutely. We paint ceilings, crown molding, baseboards, door frames, window casings, and any trim. Many homeowners are surprised how much a fresh ceiling and trim job transforms a room.

Exterior Painting

Spring (March-May) and fall (September-November) are ideal. Temperatures are moderate and humidity is low. We can paint in summer with early-morning starts, but extreme heat affects dry times. We will advise on timing based on your specific situation.
Yes. Stucco is one of our primary exterior surfaces in the Southwest. We use 100% acrylic coatings that flex with temperature changes and bridge hairline cracks. Significantly more durable than standard exterior paint on stucco.
Yes. We are familiar with HOA color requirements in most major Las Vegas, Henderson, and St. George communities. We will work within your community approved palette and can help with the color approval process if needed.
7-10 years in our climate with proper prep and premium paint. 100% acrylic coatings on stucco can last 10-15 years.
We monitor weather forecasts closely and schedule accordingly. If conditions change mid-project, we stop, protect what has been painted, and reschedule. You are never charged for weather delays.

Drywall & Stucco

Yes. Texture matching is a specialty. Knockdown, skip trowel, orange peel, smooth. We test on a small area first to nail the exact pattern and density before applying to the repair.
Desert soil settlement is the most common cause in the Southwest. As caliche soil expands and contracts with temperature changes, walls crack, especially at corners, above door frames, and at joints. Most are cosmetic, but we will tell you if we see anything concerning.
Yes. We work with homeowners on water damage, fire damage, and impact damage repairs regularly. We can provide written documentation of damage scope for insurance purposes.
Thermal expansion in desert climates is the primary culprit. 115-degree summer days and cold winter nights cycle stucco through extreme stress. Sealing cracks quickly prevents moisture intrusion.

Commercial Painting

Yes. We handle offices, retail spaces, restaurants, medical facilities, warehouses, and multi-unit residential. We have painted Applebees, Dennys, and WeWork locations across the Southwest.
Yes. Evening, overnight, and weekend scheduling is available for commercial clients. We understand that painting during business hours is not always possible.
Yes. We can document exact Sherwin-Williams or Dunn Edwards product names, colors, and sheens for every surface. Useful for facilities managers maintaining color consistency across locations.

Scheduling, Process & Warranty

2-4 weeks is typical for most residential projects. During peak spring season, lead times can stretch to 6-8 weeks. For commercial projects or large residential jobs, we recommend reaching out 4-6 weeks in advance.
No problem. We will document any scope changes in writing with updated pricing before work proceeds. No surprise charges after the fact.
Residential projects carry a 5-Year Warranty on workmanship. Peeling, flaking, or adhesion failures. Commercial projects carry a 1-year industry standard warranty. Normal wear and fading from UV exposure are not covered.
Call us. We come back and address it. Our goal is that you tell us it is perfect before we close out the job. If something is not right after the fact, we make it right. That is not complicated.
We are happy to share what we have seen work during your estimate, but final color selection stays with you. For deeper color help we will point you to the certified colorists at Sherwin-Williams. We always recommend testing colors on a posterboard first so you can see how the light changes the color before we commit.
